Australia: yes or no?

I was attacked by a kangaroo. It didn't do any damage, it just got my clothes dirty because it had dirty feet and it kicked me. I was surprised so I just backed away from it, but from that encounter I'm pretty sure I would win in a fight vs a large kangaroo. They are strong but they don't have the physical capability of doing much damage because of the way they are built. They can bite though if you get your hand near their mouth.
