Okay, some background, my girlfriend and I are talking about stocks because it's the hot trendy thing where I am. So she mentions how she has a few crappy overvalued stocks and she is waiting for them to go back to her purchase price before selling.

I ask her, "But if they are crappy and overvalued, why not sell them now when the market is hot?"

She says, "But then I would take a loss!"

I say, "But what does that matter? If you think they are worth $20 and the market is offering to buy them from you at $40, why wouldn't you?"

She looks at me like I am an alien and says that I don't know how to buy stocks.

So the is with me. Then I ask her about the scenario above with some guy offering to buy at $40 when the market is trading at $20. She says she still wouldn't sell because it would be taking a loss, she'd wait until it got back to $100.

So I say, "WTF? That's stupid, no one would do that!"

So she says, "O RLY? Everyone would do that!"

I say, "Let's put it to a vote then!"

She says, "Sure!"

Now she angleshoots me by saying OOT isn't representative, what's my next move OOT

Steal all her stuff and treat her like dirt. When she tries to dump you tell she has to wait until you treat her like when you first met or she'll be taking a loss. Then SIIHP
