every hand played in that movie was fishy

[/ QUOTE ]

Are you saying this because

a) You actually think like this and you have analyzed every hand in this movie

b) You think it's cool to say that?

Answer and elaborate please.

For one thing, betting 2x pot is standard in that movie on most streets. And 10x preflop raises with KK heads up. And 3 bets to 5x reraises etc. KGB reraises Mikes 1000 bet (with KK) to 5000.

Better would be if Mikey McD had AA v 9999 and then KK v AA and got murdered by gramma

You got the scene correct, but you missed the biggest problem. If mike is on a draw, as he claims, why the HELL would KGB go all in on the river? If mike only has a missed draw, he'll instamuck. If he really thought mike was on a draw, he should check it to him, allowing him to try and bluff. Horribly misplayed. At first I also thought wtf, what draw would he have. It took me a few run throughs to realize 45

well the two that jump to mind besides the AA999 hand are johnny chan 3-betting a 10BB stack at 300/600 and folding to a 4-bet and the 1st hand of the final HU match when the pot is opened to 1k at 25/50

It's a hand where 99.999% of players would have gone broke on. Nuff said.
