i would just c/c turn and reevaluate on the river but prob c/f unimproved. depends how much he bets on the turn/river.

for now tho, c/c turn seems kinda standard

Imo check/call is worst line you can take this turn.

the more i think about it the more i think you are right but against this type of player i don't think its a terrible line. it depends a lot on his bet sizing on the turn if you check to him.

Agree, it isnt terrible. What you think about bet/c or bet/f if raised?

b/c i dont like simply because i really doubt he's raising as a bluff or with anything we beat

thats why i initially preferred c/c because i think he might bet something like KQ/QJ onthe turn wheras if we bet now we might lose him. i think we can get him to value bet for us or at least let us know if we are beat by checking it to him now and seeing how much he bets.

if he checks back the turn we can b/f the river pretty safely.

I like b/f turn. I find minraise is often top pair/air not so much flush draws.
In any case, Qx will check behind a lot here and you're not going to get any value if a fourth diamond hits river. Bet to value Qx and sometimes they will have a redraw with a big diamond so you want to charge that.

I think you can safely fold to a turn raise, and c/f river if he calls. I doubt he is betting river with anything we beat.
