Hyperspeed makes the notes scroll faster, but spreads them out accordingly making it look faster but easier to read. It's really the only way to play IMO, makes it much more fun and fluid; you just kind of react to the song and go from there. Definitely try it and see if you like it

Somebody give me the secret to superfast picking. I somehow got 5* on Misirlou in GH2 but I break my combo every other bar in Knights of Cydonia and I feel like my arm is going to fall off by the end of One (also breaking my combo every other time in those groups of 7 notes).

yeah!!!!!!!! just beat medium. i doubt i'm anywhere near ready for hard. i 75% every song and barely make it through. i don't know how i beat lou. i thought i was dead, and had no idea he was close to dead cause i only used maybe 3 powerups.
then when i got the finish him part, i thought i'd lose too because i was on the brink. that wouuld have been a major piss off. lol, 58% of notes hit against lou. 18 note streak was my best do you always get a 5-star review against lou? somehow i did.
