The lack of interest in this thread speaks volumes for how little chance any game has at overtaking no-limit hold 'em. Even 2+2ers don't care about HORSE very much.

True. People claim they want to watch something other than no-limit holdem on occasion, but they really don't.

hold'em is easy to view on TV. The other games aren't and suffer accordingly, especially with showing, what, 10% of the hands played?

this is definitely true. I'm watching it but I kinda put it off for a while, whereas I watch the ME stuff ASAP. Also I'm ostensibly a poker professional, but I just stare blanky at the screen during stud eight-or-better hands. I can only imagine what non-poker enthusiasts think while watching it.

I love Kenny Tran. I also really love how after the sick J9 call, he called Amnon down with 63o. lol, did everyone hear what Amnon said after he bet the river with AT on the AA6xxx board? "go ahead and put me on 2 cards you beat, Kenny."
