so is the consensus to get this on Wii instead of xbox if you have both system?

[/ QUOTE ]

it depends...while wii has vibration/speaker, 360 has no friend codes, d/lable content sooner and i assume more customs etc will be available on 360...my friend's bro bought his on wii because all his friend's had the wii version and he wanted to be able to play against them online...so if some of ur friends will be getting the game, see which system they get it for

I've seen you mention d/l content on wii a couple times, while everything else I've read says this is not going to happen/is impossible with wii...what are your sources that wii version will have d/l content?

"Red Octane contacted Joystiq to let us know that what Huang meant to say is there would initially be no downloadable content for the Wii."

Is that it? I would be pumped if the Wii could get some d/l content, but if this is all there is to suggest it, I won't hold my breath.

just beat Tom on medium. pretty pleased, then i 4-starred bulls on parade. took about 8 tries to beat tom though. it's all about getting lucky and getting whammy's, they devastate him.

i gotta figure out how to do the hammer-ons and pull-offs. that's not part of my arsenal yet, and i'm still a little shaky with the blue button, but getting better.

I'm still on medium too, so I'm probably not the best person to ask, but when I started on easy and medium, I started with my index finger on green and just used the next finger for each button so my pinky ended up on blue. I switched so my index finger now starts on red and I slide up for green, so that my ring finger hits blue. It was much easier and my scores went up. Although I guess I'll have to learn how to use my pinky to move up and be good at hard.

Maybe GT1T or another expert player can give us the best starting position for their hand.

Also, my GT= ev3rett if anyone wants to play. I played someone last night and he FC'd two of the three songs, then was mocking me when we were on the recap screen.

Force yourself to learn to use your pinky. You will be better for it. Only in rare parts do I purposefully avoid using my pinky

you're on the right track in regards to sliding. you should also be getting used to using that pinky finger. it takes time, but you'll learn to use it eventually. once you hit the later stages of the game, you'll be sliding your hand up and down so fast it will just become a fluid motion. you will figure out different finger combinations that work for different parts of each song. the pinky will be necessary for this.
