This is just short term luck... A player of your knowledge and skill level (as you say), should know this already...

I myself, have run up 10+ buy ins at nl 50 table (1 tabling) when i first started playing poker and didn't even know [censored] compared to what i know now...

Its called a "RUN" man... Happens to everyone

And i know you don't think its sustainable in your heart because you'd still be playing there right now as we speak making 100bb/100...

So do us a favor, quit kidding yourself, and us, about how you can sustain this w/r.. and just drop this post.. mk?

Good lag play begins with a good dump...

I read the whole session. You seemed to play pretty normal to me... You lost your stack trying to bluff early in the session. Stacked tptk with an overpair. Made a few positional raises. What did I miss? Calling that reraise OOP with 86o is bad, especially since you check/folded an all unders flop. I'm not trying to bash on you here, I'm sure you are a solid winner at 1/2. But I think a post like this gives the wrong impression of what constitutes good play. Lag != good necessarily, and the newer players will have a hard time distinguishing the two. Perhaps if you posted your PT database from when you crushed nl25 (before you moved up), it would help the new players a lot more.

He's essentially even until the last two hands. Which is kind of sad considering he previously stacked 2 people with overpairs earlier. Then 2nd to last hand, he's behind to an overpair and has $10 left when he catches a 2 outer for trip nines on the river then wins a stack.

Last hand, he's way behind until he catches an inside straight draw on the river and some moron gives up his stack from what was a $5 pot.

I'm sure he can beat $25NL, but this session definitely isn't a demonstration on how to do it.

Like I stated earlier, I wanted to post my whole session as a learning tool... but obviously SSNL has changed in how it approaches topics/learning opportunities. Do you guys not want to learn from more experienced players?

Come on.

Get your head out of your ass.

You posted two hands.

One where you backdoor (check flop/check turn) a wheel/flush w/e and some donk stacks off with tptk.

Ooooh la la, you really "manipulated" that guy.

Teh overpair vs. tptk again, ooh la la, nice ownage.

As a "more experienced" player, you know this is a bunch of ballywho (i don't even know what that means).

Posting about how easy it is to manipulate players at that level is stating the obvious.

The hands you posted don't show anything.

Do you really think anyone is going to learn from your 131 hands of lunacy at 25NL.

freakdaddy rules.

i had a really bad session yesterday.

regards,

ness

You did generate the action. But you did get lucky in all but the qq hand. The 999 hand is really bad on your part. The wheel was very fortunate.

I like 34 hand where u raised the weak lead. Good manipulation there. But I am too dumb to see how you manipulated them to do exactly what you wanted.

100 ptb/100 come on. Simply not possible. No matter how well you hand read and manipulate Variance will rear its ugly head and bite you in the ass.

I'll close by saying that I've read many of your posts and found them quite insightful and helpful. I have not found this thread helpful for beginners or more experienced players>>

i didnt see much LAG play there. I saw a bunch of stupid calls and bluffs, not alot of lag though. and 130 hands? whats that an hour? 2 hours at a slow table? dont get your brother all hyped up about poker when you luckily stacked someone with a rivered straight.

They'd rather learn from insightful posts from experienced players.

I don't understand the inspirational part. You ran well over one session. Everyone has done that if they have any amount of significant hands...this isn't some kind of breaking news or anything.

The reason anyone would "hate on you" during this, is because you ran hot, and now think that's just simply how good you are and are more than capable of retaining this winrate as long as you want...which is ludicrous.

If you play 10k hands and show 1/4 of this winrate, then post your graph here...I think we would all be a lot more eager to praise you.

Nothing inspirational about running hot.

I honestly think i learned a thing or two reading through the session.

#1. Constantly berate the fish for their lack of money and skill.
#2. Post hand histories showing how goooot i play.

You were up 6 PTBB until the last two hands... One of which you sucked out on. Do you want a medal?
