I tried to pay via credit card, but my debit card had a 4.5k limit so I'm bringing a travelers check.

I'll still have to the claim the money, but I suggest you bring a print out of the WPT tournament or something saying there's a tournament at fallsview. I'm bringing a new car with temp tags....so I'm bringing the car's reciept and other info. I'm sure I could do without it, but I'd like to keep the hassle to a minimum,

As far as the cab driver thing....I have no idea. Maybe get out, go through the border and get a canadian cab?
