[ QUOTE ] i raise vs. an unknown limping otb. [/ QUOTE ] wait, you'd 3-bet shove the river? [/ QUOTE ] sure, against an unknown limping over 1 otb. here's my humanstove calculation: good player: 15% retard: 85% given the human range, combined with the hand range, i'd say we're gonna get called by worse hands than the second nuts here a decent ammount of the time. |

I think 3 betting river is fine against a station who won't fold any flush.

I think this is a tough decision, please elaborate [/ QUOTE ] I was being sarcastic, and probably a bit preeminently so as I didn't realize how deep you guys were. Your river bet looks like a blocker so I imagine that he is raising a few hands that are very marginal as well as lesser flushes and possibly sets. I think that given that he has roughly 150 behind after the river raise, he may be able to fold a lot of sets/smaller flushes to a 3 bet so I think that a call is likely the best play. |

Can you explain your bet sizing on the river?
I am calling this all day against anyone, a shove here though I think is -EV because you are getting called by the nut flush and smaller flushes are folding. Given the stack sizes I think most idiots will be able to find the fold button holding T9 with $224 to go. |

i raise vs. an unknown limping otb. [/ QUOTE ] HUH. his range when limping on the button, however weak a play that is, does include a lot of small SC type hands and maybe a suited ace (most ppl would raise with a suited aces on the button). i would call the river raise and then vomit a little bit if he turns over the Axs. your river bet probably induced the raise as it is. call |

Can you explain your bet sizing on the river? [/ QUOTE ] Yea, I figured I if he has 2 pair or a set, he'll check behind so it's for value. Against the flush, I assume he raises and I can b/c or b/3bet depending. Problem is once he raised I kinda froze up and wasn't sure to call or shove. BTW - I didn't want to 3bet the turn because I think it turns my hand face up and I lose a lot of value from 2 pair or a set. |
