[ QUOTE ]
The chances of some unknown at 100NL picking up on your weak river bet and making an insane river c/r with a busted straight draw here is close to 0. Why not bet between 15-25 and actually get called by hands we beat instead of pushing out 8x and low pp's with a shove? [/ QUOTE ] The fact that villain twice made a min donk bet and called a raise probably means he isn't folding an eight if he has one. |

We're HOPING he has an 8 here though, and I feel like that's the only hand he has that MIGHT call a shove but probably won't. We have no idea if this guy is a retarded slowplayer either. I've seen donks take similar lines w/ sets or like a 7 here - not the most likely situation but definitely not something you should rule out completely. A small v bet on the river actually gets value from 33-66 and will for sure get a call from an 8 whereas a push u really will probably fold him out.

Ok, I check behind an SB shows 64.
I guess I could bet half of what I have left here, but at the time it felt too thin. It's also particularly hard when you have no read. And after results I obviously have an extra read so it's hard to stay impartial. |
