Atleast they werent shooting at cars like the people here in Columbus, Ohio a few years ago.

This sounds like one of those crimes where if someone gets randomly killed you're screwed, but otherwise you probably get off pretty easy.

A couple of years ago in my area, someone (and I think it was during broad daylight, unbelievably) threw a large rock off an overpass. It smashed threw a car's windshield and right into the woman driver's face. Luckily, the male passenger was able to bring the car to a stop.
The woman had extensive injuries and needed to have surgery.

Also, these kids obviously arent doing this to hurt someone, they probably think its really fun and funny but have absolutely no clue how much damage they can do.
