[ QUOTE ]
Im currently caught up in this mess too. I dont want to give ANY money to rtr in anyway, but I've closed my account at pp once and I'm really not looking forward to doing it again. Has anyone considered to just continue playing for the VIP bonuses? I was upgraded this month and have yet to receive an offer but I thought it might be worth it to stay. What do other ppl think? [/ QUOTE ] i think it's a great idea if you like the idea of him pocketing money you could be getting back somewhere else for the rest of your pp career. i'm sure rtr's jizzing all over it |

But I guess I'm most worried about closing and opening a new pp account under a new affiliate and then the same thing happening. What I'm trying to say is that since pp is so bent on killing all rb, would it be an ok idea to just give up on it and stay with the vip program? Obviously I would rather have rb, but if I can only have it for a few months at a time due to affiliates being shut down and me having to close and open a new account all the time then maybe just the vip bonuses would be close/comparable to what I would have gotten from pp rb anyways. |

Even if you opened another account it probably won't take terribly long to get into the vip program anyway, but then again I don't know what the criteria is. Does anyone else?

My records show that in February I was paid through neteller, but I think before that it was through party.

[ QUOTE ] None of the above. I'm going to close my current Party account and see if I can get them to reopen my old one. Funding my current account with Firepay is a pain in the butt anyway. [/ QUOTE ] Is this possible to reopen an old account? Wont they ask questions? Do you just call and ask to reopen the account? [/ QUOTE ] I emailed them that I wanted my account closed, the one I opened with reduce the rake. Once they confirmed that that account had been closed I switched email addresses and emailed them that I wanted my old account reopened (they require that you email them from the account they have on file) and they just sent me a welcome back message, simple as that. Heck, I even have $10 in my old account. Let me add that I don't really play on Party and never enough to actually get paid any rakeback after the bonuses were deducted from my MGR. I had just planned for the long term is all but I prefer other sites. I do think what RTR did is pretty uncool, especially after I got all kinds of assurances from him that he WOULDN'T do EXACTLY what he's done. Deception or incompetence, either way, it doesn't cut it with me. But the old rule applies that if it sounds too good to be true... well, you know the rest. |

[/ QUOTE ] Funny, I have been paying players through inter-account transfer for a couple years now, even in some instances having Party faciliate transfers if the player was over his transfer limit or what have you. Who would ever think that Party would look to shut down affiliates who build their whole business on violating the T&C, while giving other affiliates who do things the right way a little leeway for certain things? |
