Default quick hand

villain was unknown at the time, but bought in short and has been running his stack up and down. seems pretty loose but no real read on him other than that

Full Tilt Poker, $0.50/$1 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

CO: $220.35
BTN: $125.40
Hero (SB): $111.60
BB: $77.25
UTG: $136.80

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
3 folds, <font color="red">Hero raises to $3</font>, BB calls $2

Flop: ($6) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $5</font>, BB calls $5

Turn: ($16) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $12</font>, BB calls $12

River: ($40) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)

was thinking easy value bet at the time but there arent many worse jacks that can call on the river. and I dunno if he's gonna call down w/ middle pair.

Hero checks, <font color="red"> BB bets $40 </font>, Hero calls $40

he pretty much instapotted the river

Yeah, not a huge fan of any of your options.

I think c/c is probably best, cuz he can bluff a lot of missed draws.

thing is, I dunno how often he gets to the river w/ just 9x, KQ is definitely possible. I think most likely he has some kind of pair + draw like J9, T9, 98 or something along those lines. most of those just check behind for a free sd.

I'm starting to lean towards betting more since people can get stubborn in the blinds and spite call, esp. if u bet something small like 1/2 pot

Eh, I like the check/call. I think a pair+9 makes up a pretty reasonable part of his range; enough that he might bluff it.
