Default Re: KQ to river flush scare...good or bad play?

Turn play was pretty bad here. Putting in less than half-pot allowed flush and straight draws to call profitably... either check behind for pot control, or bet pot. Checking behind might induce a bluff from weaker hand, even though that river card was pretty bad for you.

River call is marginal.... this is flush or straight much more than 35% of the time.

Turn odds are 3:1, so no profitable drawing for a FD.

I'd still bet more. Bet something like 4.5$
River is a crying call.

Turn bet definitely needs to be bigger... $4.50-4.75. If he calls that, I'm tempted to fold to his half-pot river bet given that most draws that just made it. I think an argument can still be made for flatting the river though.
