Schultz was less talented by far, it seems to me. And much more one-note. Werner Klemperer was Da Man.

Probably. I didn't actually like the show. It just seemed like an attempt to make a comedy series out of The Great Escape (which was ridiculously good).

I'm not old enough to have seen the show when it originally aired.

I was really just talking about Richard Dawson from TV game shows.

I'm old enough. But it wasn't a great show. It just had a couple actors with cool vibes. I'm not sure a lot of people missed it when it was gone, but everybody seemed to love Colonel Klink.

The only "Good" Germans on American TV in the last 60 years have been the Engels family featured on Little House On The Prairie.
