Call. Then if no A, or K on the river, take him to valuetown. Here's why:
I haven't read all the responses but I think the "key" is the extra 1k chip plus the 3 seconds. He threw in the 1k AFTER the 5k to make SURE that it couldn't have been a call (as far as I know throwing in 1 oversized chip without saying anything is ruled a call) so he made sure that the floor couldn't come to this ruling. So, for the first three seconds everyone would think it's a raise. this is because he is afeared that UTG has him beat with some kind of monster but at the same time he think he has ZJ beat. Thus, I think he's angleshooting UTG to see if he will come over the top instantly(he doesn't). After 3 seconds, BB realizes that UTG doesn't have AA/KK so he says "call" (which he knows it won't be). So now ZJ is in the hand facing a raise. He thinks he is ahead of ZJ but possibly behind AA/KK/TT Keep in mind that his angleshooting of UTG means that he doesn't have a super monster (AA or KK) because that's what he's afraid of. So he hasn't set over setted ZJ but thinks he is ahead of ZJ. As it is right now I put him on AK/AQ, Call. |
