Thanks Roland. I'm no expert w/ PG or even a novice for that matter and I appreciate your help and everyone elses for that matter.

PG has 2 sections one is, "Protect this application from..." a. termination b. modification and c.reading. With partypoker if I leave all of those unchecked then iwitness works OK, however if I check the boxes to protect me from modification and reading then it doesn't work, but does that mean I'm not protected anymore?

Then there is another section that says "authorize this application to..." 1. terminate protected applications 2. modify protected apps, 3. read from protected apps. I leave all those blank anyhow and perhaps that's enough to protect me from their prying eyes...I don't know.

I really not sure - hopefully someone knows and then we can eventually add that too the help section on the Wiki.
In fact I'm sure Juk knows but he's busy clearing 4.5k hands or something...

Default v2.11

Okay guys, I added two more options: define a minimum average pot and a maximum number of tables/group. Also you can now suspend both hotkeys and tooltips (tootips were driving me crazy while I was working on the Gui, hehe).

Remarks:
The default for avg. pot is $0. If you leave it that way for all your groups, the script will behave just like it did before. However, if you specify something other than zero in any group, it will check for avg pot every time along with the other stuff; this means we have to bring the lobby up and go to the correct game tab etc. (no big deal, but it's slightly more distracting when you're playing or doing other stuff).
The default for max tables is "---", meaning there is no limit. If you specify a max number it will only open that many tables (on all clients).

Oh ya, and it should now delete those dlls more reliably.

Hey,

Thanks for the great product.

I was having no problem with the earlier scripts, but I tried the newest one today, and now the following message pops up when I run iWitness.

I just copied the script to notepad, saved the file x.ahk, and then double clicked that file.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Do you have the latest AHK-version installed?

I remember reading something about it, but I just can't find where it explains everything...I'm still worried that party can access my computer w/out any of the boxes checked.

Yep, I been bonus chasing! Gonna be a loooooong week...

These are the settings I have for Party setup in ProcessGuard in the "Protection Tab":

1. Party must not be "protected" from Reading (else FPHG won't work as it reads from Party's memory space).
2. Party is not "authorised" to Read, Modify or terminate any other applications.
3. The "other options" column is blank (so it can't inject it's dlls, read any other process memory, install hooks, etc).

One thing to note is that the free version of ProcessGuard doesnt protect you from dll injections.

Also I would consider getting SnoopFree also, as this has the extra feature of blocking screen captures.

I just noticed that I can still talk in the chat (I turned it on for like first time in a year today, to ask if everybody at my table experienced a weird lag-out, and got some replies so I guess my chat is not being blocked). Not sure why I can chat yet others can't though?

EDIT: Just made the little diamond symbol for the post, so this subthread stands out (I keep getting lost in this thread - its got huge! LOL)

I've always been able to use chat while running ProcessGuard and SnoopFree, and I set it pretty much the same way you describe.

Also, like you, the growth of this thread makes my head spin.

I'm afraid to look and the bandwidth and site stats for overcards.com. . .
