Meet the Press. 59 years of, on average, horrifically boring shows.

Star Trek Voyager was very bad, then it got worse with Enterprise.

I have no idea how you people are selecting That 70s Show. I think it's clear from a lot of the posts in this thread that people haven't bothered to actually watch any of the shows they're talking about.

[/ QUOTE ] Yeah, I was turned off by the terrible laugh track and stuff as well the first coupld times I watched it, but that and the fact they laugh at the jokes all the time is part of its charm. |

[ QUOTE ] Home improvement. If it survives a couple more years, Cheaters will become the worst show ever made. Ever. In the history of the world. [/ QUOTE ] Disagree. Not only is it unfair to compare syndicated shows to network sitcoms, Cheaters is great, if only to laugh at the people who go on the show and the rediculously over the top host. [/ QUOTE ] I'll bet that little geek who hosts cheaters bangs all the chicks that are greater than a 3.5 on that show. |

I can't believe I got through this whole thread without seeing anyone mentioning the king turd in the pile of excrement- Yes Dear. That show is so painfully unfunny it is beyond imagining. And it has been on for [censored] EVER.

This is the dumbest thread I have ever read on 2+2. Not the OP, topic, or concept, but the average intelligence of the posts. [/ QUOTE ] W_alloy - I think "Boy Meets World" is an abysmal series that lasted way too long. That's why I chose it. Yet, I've probably only seen a handful of episodes all the way through, and caught glimpses of a bunch more... does this mean I'm too ill-informed to choose this series as worst long-running ever? The problem is that when discussing crappy TV, most times, one can't bear to watch it - you just instantly know it sucks and stop torturing yourself and try to avoid it. I think this thread topic is fine. This isn't about an empirical answer where everyone has all the data available to them - it's a discussion thread. -Al |

WayAbvPar - I was going to choose Yes Dear, but it's only been on the air for 4 seasons or so, vs. Boy Meets World, which had a 7-year network run. Pretty much, you could choose any random CBS sitcom in the last decade, and get a reasonable answer to this thread topic.
