It's not that the USA doesn't have loads of freedoms, it's just the the balance between freedoms and restrictions is a little odd.

So you can drive a 2 tonne car, own an assault weapon, have sex, marry, and fight in Iraq at 18 but can't have a beer in your own house?

Does that not seem more than a little weird?
