hachem making 7 million doesnt seem unreasonable to me at face value |

Nike has over 16 billion in income and 7 billion in gross profit per year, you think Stars makes that much gross? Marginal revenue generated on a per custiomer basis is worthless when comparing two entirely different entities and then trying to use that measurement as a means of comparative compensation. All that being true that doesn't meant that people aren't being overpaid every day all over the world. Wouldn't surprise me if he got 7 million plus perks, just that there is no way it was a great business decision if he did. Jimbo |

lol@7 million. Where do you idiots come from? [/ QUOTE ] There are two things several of you are missing the boat on. 1. Hachem's appeal is global and fits perfectly into Stars marketing. As Gary mentioned earlier, him not signing with Stars would have been a disaster. Joe may not of realized it but he didn't have to since..... 2. He was smart enough to sign with William Morris. You know damn well his agent knew Joe's worth to Stars. I wouldn't have expected him to have been given a $7M check upfront but certainly if their conditions were met for appearances, tournament play, etc... the total package could easily have been $7M. |
