Raising pocket pairs like 22 to 55 everytime seems a little extreme. What if the stack sizes are only 40bb or 30bb? I know this doesn't happen too much but what if utg limps and your in the sb and you raise with 44 and utg 3bets you? If its over your 10% of your stack you can't call and expect to profit. I just feel like the hands you want in with small pps are AK, AQ,and Big pairs, that way you can stack them... by raising everytime they can effectively allowed to 3bet you and effectively force you off your hand. If I'm wrong on this please feel free to tear me apart.

ok say utg has AA. he limps UTG because he sucks, he also has 40bb because he sucks and does not rebuy.
I raise my 44 in MP.
He 3bets and "showed me his hand"
I fold.
All the other times when he does not have AA here but limps because he's scared of raising, I either:
Take the pot preflop because he is not calling a raise with T7o.
Take the pot on the flop because he missed it and checked to me, where I cbet.
Take down a hugh pot because he did hit but I hit my golden 4, and he can't lay down any decent hand.
Or he hit something and I miss, and I lose my raise and a cbet.

Think of this and reply when you think you understand or if you still disagree with me

I play pretty loose for uNL and I'm only raising 88+ OOP vs multiple limpers. PPs rock and all that, and I'm definitely open-raising and isolating with them from any position, but raising limpers OOP with 22 really is a bit extreme. You'll have a harder time extracting if you flop a set, and you'll have a much harder time winning pots unimproved.

No way raising 22 out of SB after 2 limpers at a typical 25NL table is better than completing, just no way.

Also lol@calling ppl who disagree "dead money". Maybe the strategy forums aren't for you [if not the game of poker itself].

your in sb no one is ever checking to you. by this strategy do you just autoraise any hand in the sb with multiple limpers cause most of your basic logic still applies. honest question, im wondering if you do and find it profitable to play so aggressive out of the sb.

first of all boredom im defenately not talking about people who are discussing this. I'm talking about the "several players limping" Sorry if you misunderstood that.

@ kinder, honestly I always raise or call a raise with all of my pocket pairs, 6 handed. I do agree that it's not as profitable to play pps that aggressive from the sb compared from a LP. But still I think it's more profitable than just limping.
if I complete, I have no reads on my opponents when going to the flop, and I'm first to act.

Discussed this with a friend of mine.
I think I have a leak here, I should complete in the SB sometimes with low pps, however I still _never_ "open limp" pps
