Oh yeah, I forgot, opening scene Meadow dancing in her underwear in front of the TV. That was a plus.

good episode.

How did Pussy's wife afford a nice car?

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm guessing that's something we'll find out in the upcoming episodes.

[/ QUOTE ]

Plenty of spoilers from tonight's episode, but you probably don't care if you've read this far.

--This episode made me sad, because it reminded me that it's been at least ten years since I've had a veal parm sandwich. They don't have those down here in Mississippi.

--Now THIS is how they should use Meadow: naked, or very close to naked, and not speaking. In fact, if that's how they handled every female character on the show (except Janice and Ginny), that would be OK with me.

--I refuse to believe that anyone who inherited $2M a few days ago would SCKH. Nor would someone strong enough to single-handedly handle a hit be so weak as to SCKH. I liked the whole storyline, except for its sudden resolution.

--Why do we watch this show? Because how often does a tv show make you sit up in your chair and shout, "WHOA!"

I wasn't impressed. It felt rushed, way too all over the place and just weirdly edited.

[/ QUOTE ]

The beginning was a little odd, but I felt the rest of the episode was very well done. I think that some of the complaints that some people might have is that it's been so long between seasons and we've all been waiting so anxiously for the new shows to start, that this episode couldn't possibly live up to expectations.

Yes, and he posted the "answer" about 10 seconds before I posted my comment. Thanks for bolding it, though.

Yeah, I was quite happy with the episode. A few of the other posters were complaining about it, though.

What were those "spirits" they were describing at the beginning - the 7 entities of life/death?

[/ QUOTE ]

Its from the Egyptian book of the dead. Its the perfect choice since Adrian came back from the dead to visit Carmella in her dreams. Its additionally poignant because William S Burroughs was a heroin junkie and an American hero.. just like Chris.
