Villain is 32/8/1.6 for 130 hands. I have a note that says limp reraise AA utg, but I have also seen him limp fold several times utg. My plan for the turn was to bet big and call an allin. Who likes it? The min chk raise made me instantly think set to which I would have no fold equity so I just call hopin to catch one of my 13 outs (of villain does have set). Anyone play this differently. Advice and explanation appreciated. Thanks.

looks like a set or maybe QT, but you've got odds for the flush/straight so just play for that now and call.

Does anyone like checking the turn here with the big draw? Villain is likely to pay off the disguised straight and if he has a set will likely pay off a decent amount to a back door flush.

wp, call the raise, dont think you have any FD and your outs are well disguised.
checking behind on the turn is out of the question. |

[/ QUOTE ] No I think you have to bet on the turn, and indeed call the minraise. He probably calls the flop with a lot of garbage. You also have a lot of equity against his calling range and betting the turn gives you the change to put in a large bet on the river if you hit. |

Well played, and ignore the post on CR - that guy, and anyone else advocating a check on the Turn, is just being results oriented.
I do think, however, you overbet the Turn a bit - I'd have bet around $100, maybe even less. With the larger stacks, this leaves more wiggle room for a possible 3-barrel on the River, doesn't commit you or him as badly, etc., and I think will often accomplish the same thing - folding out a lot of those hands that decided to take one off on the Flop.
