It doesn't necessarily say "I'm trash," but women who wear sneakers on their way to work look so horrible it's not even funny. Though women's dress codes are a complete joke so it often matches with the rest of the get-up.

Um, you realize they usually change shoes once in the office? I don't see what that has to do with "women's dress codes."

i think it's pretty clear he does realize they change shoes.. hence "on their way to work"

Then how does that relate to women's dress codes being a complete joke? I'm missing a connection somewhere. Whatever, they should be wearing Crocs instead of running shoes.
