Just over 2 beers an hour for a full day... I truthfully feel like slow and steady wins the race here. If you get off to too fast of a start you could really screw yourself in the end. Just learn to pace yourself, obviously one of the qualities that many alcoholics lose after getting a couple drinks in them.

this is really easy. i weigh 150 and i can do this no problem. drink 30 beers at a party starting at 10pm or so. by 4am you should be 30 deep.

wake up at 2 and you have 8 hrs for 20 beers. if you cant handle that you should not be drinking.

k,

I qualify for both as a I said. Tonight someone challenged me to both of the following:

a. A 30 in under 14 hours, I said I could do it in about 10. I think its a stretch but in the end I could do it.
b. The most you can do without passing out. I set it at about 40ish, give or take. I know I could beat the guy, but hes a friend and im afraid he will go to great lenghts to beat me.

How is it that I'm a fat old drunk and can't even touch the sheer quantities of booze I could put down in high school?

There's no way 50 beers in 24 hours will kill you. Unless I am in fact a cat and pushing my last lifes right about now...

wtf? No chance any of you legitimately come close to 50 in 24 hours. If you're not dead you'll be in a coma.

Me and my freinds are a good bunch of drunks and this is a a challenge that we could do. I am a big drinker and have been since I was 16, now I am 24 and seriously this would be a kind of a marathon but I know this would be done. Im not trying to show anyone up but really 50 beers in 24 hrs is completely doable by a regular alchy. If it was for a non regular drinker then thats a different story. This would be without puking too, as I know my friends and we would do this and make it a life highlight.

I'd WAY rather take action on a 30 in 10 hours (which I think I can do pretty easily) then a 50 in 24.

I don't believe this to be impossible, but most people, including those who think they can, just can't do this.

For your bet on B.....What would the time limit be? What would the ruling be on caffiene/any other upper?

edit to add: I think what most people underestimate is how high your bac is when you wake up after a HARD night of drinking. I have a breathalyzer at my house and it's not uncommon to wake up after a good nights sleep and still be at like .15 still which is gonna hurt you hard on you finishing the rest of the 50.

I assume you're all talking about drinking from bottles. They are so small. A 12oz bottle is nothing. Try drinking 50 pints in 24hrs and I'll give you a gold star, and maybe a cookie.

Yeah, I'd like to know what size we're talking here, bottles is easy! Did 24 330ml bottles in a couple of hours as part of a bet whilst waiting in line at a beer festival...yeah, it was a long wait!

But 50 pints in 24 hours....that's a different story. I don't think it can be done!
