At what age do you not need to bring ID to buy alcohol?

I get carded once in a while. If I haven't shaved in a while i rarely if ever get asked. At my local liquor store either way i never get carded...haven't in almost two years. I'm 21.

fwiw, liquor stores here have a "appear under 25" policy.

I'm 24 and get carded everywhere that the people don't know me. I am far more suprised to not get carded than to actually be carded.

The Mexican place in our town lost their license for 30-days after a sting operation (I think it was their third offense).

Now they card everybody. My wife and I saw a little old gray-haired lady get refused a margarita because she didn't have her ID. I [censored] you not.

I had been running good at not getting carded, but since I've lost weight, it's happened more, leading to some odd glances given that I'm some 110 lbs or more heavier on my ID. (only once has anybody had the guts to actually say something about it).

I'm 25, but look younger. I get carded like 50-60% of the time. Much less likely if I'm dressed nice and/or at a nicer place, much more likely if I'm with a group of (guy) friends who also look young.

If I shave first, then go out in a t-shirt and shorts, I'll pretty much get carded 100%.

Me getting carded depends on who I am with and where I am.

If I am near campus- almost always.
If I am with anyone who looks remotely young- most of the time.
If I am alone- rarely.

I am 26

I should also mention I got carded when I went to see Knocked Up. Yeah... there's really a chance I am 16.

I'm 36. I gained about 30 pounds 3-4 years ago and that weight has stayed on me. Before I gained the weight, I was carded about 50% of the time I was out. Now, I'm rarely carded (though I was carded last week at Beverages & More).

lol I'm in 19 living in Ireland and never been asked for ID, got served when i was 15 too! Not as strict here it seems

Legal drinking age is 18 here obv
