Default Re: Beginner\'s question regarding nanolimits

[ QUOTE ]

Also I'm wondering, does Hold'em Poker for Advanced Players apply to micro/nanolimits? I was considering reading though that since I felt "stuck".

Kind of all about your objectives I think. You may not be able to use any of the HEFAP playing strategies at low micro limits but if you want your know how to get out in front of your opponents playing level it would be very advisable to learn what you will need later and if you really learn and understand the concepts it will be useful at any level. Hint: one of the concepts is to adjust your style to exploit the game you are in. So iso raising, for example, is usually contraindicated. While raising for value is the gold standard.

Another is the concept that you don't have to be the best player in the world to win. You can make mistakes and win. You just have to make fewer of them than your opponents do.
