Didn't catch the post 'til now from the August thread, my QQ vs. Prodigy's AA, so I'm sticking my reply here...
No flop continuation bet because I suspect I'm behind. My turn call is getting 3:1, figuring you can have AK/JJ still, and hoping you shut down with AA/KK knowing that I do occasionally have a set, two pair, or a straight here. Have I made a lot of huge CBs? In heads up pots I thought I was pretty consistently around 1.5 times my preflop bet, do most people think that's on the big side? I guess it might be a little bit big for 3-bet pots. Edit: I also may have just not had the time to put into one or more of my decisions on this hand... I was playing 8 or more tables and the past couple nights I've had a little trouble keeping focus. |

[/ QUOTE ] This type of situation is probably one of the bigger leaks in my game right now... I think I need to be paying more attention and make better decisions when faced with these bets and figure out whether to fold or raise instead of being a pussy. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yea calling getting 3:1 isn't a good idea if the largest % of my range leaves you with two outs The cbets I remember a cpl where you made pretty large ones, so I dunno. I don't think you played it horribly, although obviously if you were checking the flop because you thought you were behind I see no reason for flat calling the turn? Regardless of anything you made the best 1 decision in that hand, which was checking the flop.
