I haven't had any problems with the "case in point." It's a killer par 3. Shaped like a ninja star with EXTREMELY narrow points, all edges of the green slope off, it's 80% surrounded by that giant trap you see except for the very back, that slopes off to a cliff. My usual draw didn't draw, and plopped it into the trap in the far back. Second shot off the tee (for kicks) landed on top of those rocks and went god knows where.

As for the Pumpkin Ridge shot, it's a couple of things: one, it's just a bad shot. Two, that was taken in early March and the course wasn't in the best of shape. That shot is also of Ghost Creek, which is the public side, and the admittedly don't take as good a care of it as they do the private.
