I keep hearing about you drinking V.O. & Coke. Is there something wrong with American whiskey that you have to buy it imported from Canada?

A long time ago, at the start of my storied drinking career (which, when I finally hang up the shot glass I'm sure to be a first ballot Hall of Famer) I messed around with V.O. a bit, but then got wise and now I roll with Jack Daniel's. Looking back I chalk that phase of my life up to youthful whimsy and experimentation, like sleeping with another man just to see what it's like.

I've always been a Canadian whisky guy, starting with Black Velvet in high school.

The only reason I drink VO is because I can't afford Crown Royal -- yet. There is no better whiskey than Crown Royal, but VO is a close second.

Chivas and water is kind of my current go-to with whiskey. I used to drink a lot of Jack and water / Jack on the rocks, but I find Chivas much smoother.

I can't possibly worship someone that drinks Jack. In fact, I'm not sure I could even consider you an equal.

How about something good like 100 Wild Turkey or Old Grandad if you will deign to drink American bourbon. Of course, you'd be much better off with some Scotch that isn't exported to the US.

nah you misunderstood me, i meant keep cash and chips at home in a crown royal bag.

maybe it's overrated but my current go to is jack, is it better or worse? i like makers mark too.
