For playing or mining. The bigger pots often have a few action people that I like being at the table with.
This is 5x better than party mine |

[ QUOTE ] i have one feature request of the latest multi-limit iW: - add the ability to specify a maximum number of tables to open for each group (before moving to the next group) i found that if i wanted to mine multiple limits and the main limit is very popular (has many many tables available in the lobby) then i have to resort to using the original iW script in a separate client (in its own folder away from the mulit-limit iW). [/ QUOTE ] I thought about this and then decided that the easiest way to do this would be to just give the one limit top priority one day and then turn it around the next. This also has the advantage that it's more effective - if you specify 10 tables of 5/10 and 10 tables of 10/20 it might not be able to find 20 tables if there are too few 10/20 tables. Using the method I suggested this is unlikely too happen. I guess we could even automate this - some sort of weekly scheme? Like, 5/10 - 10/20 on mondays, 10/20 - 5/10 on tuesdays? [/ QUOTE ] thanks for the quick response. i probably am not being very clear but i do like the current set up with the groups and priority---ensures that if one limit runs out then other tables get opened. what i was trying to suggest was not specifying the number of tables outright (you pointed out some of the limitations of this approach) but using the current approach with a small addition---simply add the ability to specify a ceiling value for the maximum number of table iWitness would open before moving to the next group. everything remains exactly the same---create groups that have descending priority although with an addition possibility for input by the user. thus, iWitness would move onto the next group BOTH when it cannot find any more of that limit AND if it reaches the specified max number of tables. in the GUI this would allow me to say the following for a group: 1 group---- limitHoldem (game)---7 (min players)---10 (max tables) with this addition it would add true multi-limit functionality to iWitness. people could, for example, open five tables of one limit and the rest of another---with the current set-up i can effectively only open one limit (because it is a popular limit and thus has more tables available than i could ever possibly open). cheers, sean |

Okay, you are right. Coffee hadn't kicked in yet when I responded earlier.

I've been using this a few days now and it works great! Good work! But is there any way that i can get my imported hands to show up as 6max? Right now PT thinks it is fullring and i cant figure out how to tag them as 6max. I know how to do this with sessions i have played (utilities - database maintenece - 6max sessions and so on) but not with these observed hands.

is there any way that i can get my imported hands to show up as 6max? [/ QUOTE ]This definitely has nothing to do with iWitness. I guess it sorta has to do with FPHG. Mostly, it's a PokerTracker issue. How do you import hands when you play? Don't you click the "treat all as 6max"? -Sam |
