This guy is clearly a big hypocrite, but I do love the sweeping generalizations you make about entire groups based on his actions.
Come to think of it, last night after I saw this story on the news about a black guy who robbed a liquor store. But I guess if I make generalizations based that would be bad. |

Look at the ratio of conservative/'moralistic' political figures who want to preach their ethical insight, but at the same time have been busted in very unethical (by their preached standards) behavior. And this is only the people that are being caught. |

There are plenty of liberal politicans who have incidents like this as well, but the hypocrisy element isn't as poignant with them. When the mayor of San Francisco admits having an affair, everyone is like "Eh, San Francisco." but when a conservative in a rural state who has built his carear on "values" does it, it's much bigger story and gets alot more press.
And this thread is nothing but an righty vs. leftie circle jerk and really belongs in poltics as it has no real bearing on gaming legislation. |

This is almost funny: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070828/...o/craig_arrest [ QUOTE ] "In the meantime, the leadership is examining other aspects of the case to see if additional action is required," Sen. Mitch McConnell and other top GOP lawmakers said in a written statement. [/ QUOTE ] So, we will investigate you if we think you are gay, but, if you are like Villers (R. LA.) and screw around whith ladies of the evening, well, OK, family values are only bumped a little. obg |

[/ QUOTE ] Frankly it’s becoming more and more obvious that there’s a segment of the Republican Party whose main motivation in politics appears to be making laws that are an attempt to keep themselves from their particular dysfunctional behaviors. We saw it with Mark Foley, who actually introduced legislation to punish the kind of behavior he engaged in. And strongly anti-gay Republicans like Ed Schrock and Jim West have supported and even pushed anti-gay legislation as they sat quietly in their closets. |

I didn't realize it was a crime to tap your feet in a bathroom stall. And why are undercover policeman in airport bathrooms trying to catch people doing this? Craig is a total creep and probably a hypocrit, but not a criminal. |
