Default Re: August Low-Content Thread - Question?

Too silly to be it's own thread, but I still have a question ... so, hopefully, it will fit into low-content. If not, ignore.

15/30 local card room. I'm running hot. I'm up 2 1/2 racks and the table is getting flustered. Three players clearly on tilt. Table likely sees me as as somewhat solid, some weakish tendencies, and aggressive. I've got excellent position - loosies on my right, tighties on my left. I've been picking on Seat 2's BB quite a bit due to good cards, circumstance, and, well, he can lay a hand down (I'm in Seat 8 (9 handed)). I've taken down 3 fo the last 4 hands I was involved in.

Folds to me in the cutoff and I look down and see J,2s.
I open raise. You like? Hate?

Really curious if this is just way to far out of the realm of good poker?

So on to the low content portion ... SB folds (Seat 2), BB calls (Seat 3 - LAG who I've been butting heads with quite a bit, he's been bluffing like crazy and I've been taking him to value-town. Which is not a strength of mine, it's something I'm working on, and tonight it's working). Flop comes with a 2. Checked to me and I bet, Seat 3 C/R me. Flop has 2 connected and 2 suited cards. It's probable that Seat 3 only has some semblance of a draw here. I call. Turn is an Ace. Seat 3 bets, I raise, he calls. River is J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] completing the flush. He checks, I check (yes, I didn't take him to value town this time, my bad) and call out two pair. He flashes 7,6 for the missed gut shot and I table my two pair and MHIG! He goes ballistic. Make that 4 players on tilt, two courtesy of me!

Was this realy, really awful?

I'm curious
