One thing about the fedex cup is that it appears that the bottom end doesn't have a hope in hell. Look what Beem did and barely makes into this week.
I'm not sure what he'd need to get into next week's, but it looks like it might take a 3rd place finish. I'm not sure how fair it is that you finish 4th in a field of 120, you may still not advance to the next field of 70. You'd think the system would work that the top 10 (at least) would be advancing each week, regardless of where they stood. VJ could miss three cuts and still be in the top 30 and play the last tourney?? What kind of playoff is that?? |
