What was the first online poker site and in what year? Also does anyone have a list of the progression of sites and the years that they started operation?

I know paradise has been around for some time. My dad and I started playing on there as early as '98 or '99.

I started at Paradise in 1999 and at that time it was the 800lb Gorilla.

And THIS place was nothing but people talking about how online places were cheating them.

Planet Poker was one of the first and the first to have their starting hand seed cracked.

I started at Holdempoker last year.

I have sinced progressed to using Stars and Fulltilt as well, though I still use Holdempoker the most.

That reminds me, I must reload while they're still offering that 15% plus entry to the WSOP freeroll. I'll be rich by the time March is over, I tell you!

I think I remember seeing someone mention in one of these threads that they were working on a history of online poker. Did anything come of that?
