[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] FWIW, pretty sure most of the Strip actually isn't even IN Las Vegas proper, and is actually in Henderson, but I may be off on this. [/ QUOTE ] The strip is unincorporated Clark County. (Daliman made a statement, not a question, which is why I am clarifying even though I am not Yugo). [/ QUOTE ] I think its Las Vegas Township - isn't it? [/ QUOTE ] OK let's go to Wikipedia: "The name Las Vegas is often applied to the unincorporated areas of Clark County that surround the city, especially the resort areas on and near the Las Vegas Strip. This 4½ mi (7.2 km) stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard is mostly outside the Las Vegas city limits, in the unincorporated towns of Paradise and Winchester." I'm not 100% sure that's right, but it's something like that I'm pretty sure. |
