hey, not to suck the fun out of these shirts, but that rick roll one probably contains copyrighted material. just like i'm sure 2+2 wouldn't want someone using their property without compensation, i bet the holder of that copyright would want to approve it at the least. but...it would be pretty sweet if it were actually endorsed by rick himself!

these shirts are pretty f'ing funny though.

That's what i'm saying about the LDO situation. I've never cared (actually I still really don't but shhhh) and never mentioned it in the threads where people are asking what it means, plus it's a silly acronym that I didn't think would catch on, but now that money is at stake, yo I invented that [censored] yo and I wonder if I have copyright claims. Ship it?

I think legally it would be different enough to get by even if you had it trademarked.

PS link to the thread where you created it so we can add it to the sticky. I think it was called "New bbv catchphrase" or something. From like 4-5 months ago right?

I've gotten so many people to say that. It rules.

I feel I was largely influential in spreading the use of LDO. I'm sure a search of my name and the acronym from around the time of its creation will show this. I would also like $$$

HUZZAH! MONEYZ FOR ALL!!!

I really didn't think any royalties were coming my way nor do I care, but on the off chance that a contract lawyer was browsing BBV4L I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

lolz

It was in the thread that discussed the other thread where MyTurn2raise was banned for saying QFT.

I said, "Well, the only logical manner in which to proceed from here is to make as many acronyms as possible, LDO. I propose LDO."

Karak then replied, "some stupid crap that shouldn't have been retyped!!"

So yeah, no link. Let's not relive that little bit of unpleasantness.
