Last week Brian was interviewed on the Rounders podcast and I have to say what a genuinely nice guy he came across. He was no way arrogant or egotistic about his rise in online poker. Instead he is determined to put right the huge losses he has encountred. To be fair im rooting for the guy as he did start at $ .25 .50 and in over a year worked up to $200 / $400. just shows what one can achieve with determination.
p.s OP is gay! |

Seriously why isn't he banned? [/ QUOTE ] Because his house burned down two summers ago and since then he has made a two year study of micro stakes proving it unbeatable while turning 5 bucks into 5200 this summer and must now quit because he can't go to school and play poker at the same time. |

[/ QUOTE ] I think it's ridiculous to assume he got where he is just by being determined. Of course he's very good, but anyone who makes millions in a year playing this game certainly did so by riding a huge lucky streak. Most people have relatively even luck. Some have very bad luck early on and then either quit or have it balance out later on. There is no way that Brian got where he is other than by getting insanely lucky early on. It's just not possible. I think he is just now feeling the balance of bad luck, it just happens to come at a time after he has already made a ton of money. I think he is also kidding himself by believing that he has this tremendous edge over all of the high stakes pros, and that attitude is going to get himself in a lot of trouble if he's not careful. |

Even if he wouldn't be good enough anymore to beat the 300/600 game (which I find highly unlikely) he could still make a killing at 25/50+ if he wanted to.

OP you suck. Whether he made it in the golden age or not does not change the fact he can still beat very high limit games TODAY.
You cant. ban |
