Indeed. You have to lead this flop! About pot-sized bet, not giving pot odds to call with anyone with flush draw.

In a 6.50, they arent thinking of pot odds at this level, and it isnt horrible thinking to check/fold here especially it being such an early level, and just losing what you raised is a much better play than leading out you have two callers on this board leading out isnt really a good play. Hgher levels it might work, but here checking off and waiting for a better place to be in is alot better than getting smashed with this board.

i don't like check-folding. bet. be prepared to get it all in on the flop. and if no Ace or club comes on the river shove turn. if they don't understand pot odds, all the more reason to bet.

I don't really want to move in with QQ on this flop. No way. I rather prefer to fold here and give them my 80 chips. I'll definitely have an edge later on.

[/ QUOTE ] That is the thinking I have here too, different level different story, too early and its a multiway pot why waste chips here??? Especially when you can exploit these guys later odds are one has a club, and at this level they are willing to get it in with a picture card. Shying away here doesnt cripple you and you learn something while just losing 80 chips,gf IMO. |

This is a tricky one at this level.
Ac and AxKc, or KcXx and sometimes QcXx, will be as happy to get it AI on the flop as a made flush - possibly rather more likely as 2c3c doesn't seem to think there's another club coming anything like as often as a lone Ac does. A mid PP with a club also gets overexcited here a lot. So I think at most typical tables at this level you would make more betting this flop and getting it all in if you can. If they're unusually tight, probably not because the Ac and Kc are more likely to have a second overcard to go with the flush draw. Folding isn't bad, it's just probably not optimal at a lot of tables at this buy-in. |

Well, it's not horrible, but a matter of style. I like to try with C-bet, if raised, fold. But i sure will try to take a stab at the pot!
