I'm always open to feedback on the site and what encourages/discourages posters.

These forums are 100% of what you make of them. But one thing really bugs me: the load of people with less than 300 posts who come into someone's strategy thread and all they have to say is "Oh god, that is so bad. PM your screenname on the site you play." and think they actually made a good point. I think there should be a forum rule that rewards this behaviour with insta-account-deletion.

Since Al writes in his books that rudeness and impoliteness tilts him, I can see why he could severly dislike a lot of what is going on in the threads here. I just read one thread where a poster had nothing better to do than offending someone that he should learn to write, because that someone forgot one "get" in his post. He wasn't even the OP or subject to critique or anything. I'm growing extremely tired of these kinds of post. Seriously.

I remember that post, as soon as I saw it I used the button that sends a link to it to a moderator. Forums are what we make them. When you see something patently offensive with no purpose, report. It's a button at the bottom left on this forum.

Sometimes mods hesitate to take action unless the community lets them know they WANT some controls in place.
