Cesar Geronimo was among my faves when he was with the Reds and I was like 6 or 7 or so.
I think it was probably because his name was super-awesome.

I personally know/knew Geronimo Gil and broadcast his minor-league games for the entire 1997 season with the Vero Beach Dodgers.
I didn't like his name as much though.
