I recently went with a group of 10 (7 poker players). The seven of us basically sat down at an empty table in the poker room and they sent over a dealer and started a 1-2 NL game for us (Sunday morning)...keep in mind there was virtually no wait list at this point and they filled the other three seats, but it worked out well.

You can also get adjoining hotel rooms, which makes partying a little more fun.

Thanks guys, we're doing foxwoods area because a few of us want to play one of the friday daily tourneys. We're just trying to figure out ways to all hang out on Sat and not split off into 5 different small groups.

You could hang out at the race book or roulette tables, then go to "The Club" for late night drinks.

Depending on when you're planning on being there you can try contacting the room about hosting a private tournament for your group. I did this for my brother-in-law's bachelor party and it worked out well. My guess is that they accomodated us because it was a slow time but they were really nice and easy-going about it either way. If you're interested I'd recommend at least contacting the room.

As a caveat though I brought it up a good two months or so before we were going to be there so there was plenty of lead time. I don't know but I assume that having that time also played into their willingness to work with us. The person I worked with was Michael Ward ([email protected]).

One more question to throw out there. Alcohol service stops at 1am right? Are there any nearby alternative for consumption if 1am last call is a little earlier then what we are hoping for. Thanks again.
