I think he tried and failed.

There just weren't any other wagons that people were going to bite on. He tried Fmx, but thats a cop-out lynch and most people realized that.

And he tried Neil, but Neil was pretty villagery.

And he tried you, and he tried Bojtun, but it just wasnt going to happen.

someone a lot earlier, and a lot harder.

Even though I am still suspicious of lastchance being so sure on kbar day 1 (after all, there were like 14 villagers, and not all of them were so sold on kbar's wolfiness, including me), the two people who are the most lynchable today are lastchance and shortline. (side order of supine and clowntable).

The game to date is a much more plausible village game for lastchance than shortline. Shortline's tone was simply off from the start, and even if shorty's changing gears for this game, I just don't see him being village here.
