I'd raise and most villain with a brain cell or two would fold a J or a 9. I'd shut down on river if called. This also prevents villains from just carelessly betting turns when you check to them in 2-bet pots. It's something you should have in your toolbox.

I either c/r or bet the turn if I know he is a serial floater.
Most of the time he is laying down his hand. |
