Default Impossible Spot in the Sunday Mill 530

No real reads on the villain, he was not extremely active over the 25 hands I played with him.

Yeah but his range for min raising the river here matters, can't be that wide at all.

So based on your logic, I should call here with 44 too right?

I'm not saying that it's a fold. I just want a response thats a little more complex than how much I have invested in the pot, because I am familiar with the odds I was getting to call here.

I think you have to call this. This looks like an opportunity CR bluff to me. Surely, if they actually had a hand that beat you, they would have to bet the river for value, after you checked behind on the turn. They can't count on you betting after they check the river, so they would be losing too much value if you checked behind again.

Does any body think that OP should have checked the river? My gut feeling is that at best, you are getting a call from a hand like AQ and that's too thin.

Checking the river is pretty terrible, IMO. I'm betting less though. Probably 4500 and calling a push.

Also, as played, this is a call. It seems to me like he is saying one of two things. Either he thinks you have absolutely nothing and is bluffing or he thinks his Q is good. Your hand looks pretty weak, especially with the big bet on the river.
