I was plowing through the archives and saw this post. I went to the Lucky Eagle casino a few years ago, when it was still in the old building. It sounds like other than the new space, things were very similar to how it used to be. Too bad it is sooooooo far away from nowhere.

The old area was actually partitioned off from the rest of the casino, and was non-smoking.

I agree about the play being a little better than expected for the low limits. I'm not saying the players there were great, but they were at least experienced.

Lastly - I agree about the Lake Charles dealers. The dealers at the Isle and Coushatta have always been very good. Harrah's in NOLA also has very good dealers; they handle the Omaha games very well.
