Cops who turn thier siren on to avoid congested lights -or just run em

Yea, it's kinda dickish, but if they're on the clock (cops are salaried, no?), then it's probably better for them to do some work rather than sit in traffic for 45 minutes.

I'm talking about rush hour type traffic. Sitting in a parking lot on the beltway kind of traffic. By all means, run your lights, drive up the shoulder, get to where you need to go. I would do it myself if I were a cop.

If it's a regular light and you can't wait 4 minutes for a light, then F you, copper.

I really don't care though. I'm in traffic whether they do it or not. I'm pretty sure the number of accidents caused by police running through a light is negligible. Actually, I'm not sure at all. I have no clue. The length of this post is already way out of proportion to my interest in this subject.
