CDS,

I can relate to that, and it's pretty much the worst ever.

lol yeah
ugh can't stop looking at the wedding photos.

so weird to cuz just like last month i decided to throw out a bunch of her stuff she had left at my place a year back, I had been holding onto it kind of hoping we'd make up etc and I'd see her again.

Guess it wasn't in the cards for me

CDS,

Man, that pretty much sums up the only regrets I have in my life. Ugh.

Anyway, here is something crappy that took my mind off of other crappy stuff this week. Perhaps you can laugh at my misery here and take your mind off that chick. This is the most recent report from a very exclusive private equity fund I was able to invest in (I have a very small investment, only a small percentage of this is my personal loss):

Kirk,

I included that description to emphasize how "lucky" and "fortunate" I was to get a chance to invest in this fund. HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

As I stated above, I actually have a very small investment in the fund, so it's not a big deal at all really. Just hilarious because it's a fund that tons of people would love to invest in and everyone thinks it's surefire $$$$$$. I got a chance to put some money in due to some business connections, wow, how lucky.

When did you invest? How big is the fund? J-Curve FT(eventual)W (or have you lost hope at this point...)?

The deal with PE is insane in China at this moment as I have observed from business deals that I've heard that's going on around (either in the company or family or family friends negotiating). Supposedly there is no way to buy shares of any companies that are IPO-ing from PE in 2008 because the lists are already filled and you'd have to look for anything beyond, and you'd still get minimal shares. Amazing phenomenon. Interested in coming to invest?

On the otherhand, what do you think of the recent Blackstone going public idea?
