Edit: I don't know how much I wanna say about this.. but metagame in these spots is really interesting. With 2x the pot, you have the ability to force him to commit his whole stack when you only have to pay half of it. Abusing this well is difficult and subtle, but very profitable.

One of the things that separates the people making like 8-10 PTBB from those making less is their ability to recognize how stack sizes ACTUALLY affect a situation--as opposed to the sort of SSNL wisdom which just says when deep drawing hands are good and marginal hands are bad.

If I feel that there is a good chance he is floating then I CRAI.

Otherwise, I check-call with odds and check-fold without odds.
